The route starts in Uptown and then follows the river towards the Mississippi River. The route hugs the river’s edge and takes in the historical landmarks and local points of interest, such as: Catfish Alley, a popular shopping district; the “Millionaires on the River” mansions; the gorgeous art deco buildings of downtown Memphis; and the iconic bridge spanning the river. The route ends at the Mississippi River, an excellent spot for some fishing, paddling, or simply taking in the views. <\/p>\n
