The Amazon River is the largest river in South America and the second longest river in the world. It has been known to flood, but not on the scale of some other rivers.<\/p>\n

To the best of my knowledge, the Amazon River has not flooded in recent history.<\/p>\n

The port of Manaus is located in the Brazilian state of Amazonas, at the confluence of the Negro and Solimões rivers.<\/p>\n

In early 2021, the port of Manaus experienced unusually high water levels. The water level rose from 2126 meters on January 1st to 2402 meters on January 26th. This is an unprecedented event in the history of the port of Manaus.<\/p>\n
