Some people may be surprised to learn that Amazon river dolphins are carnivores. These interesting creatures are found in the Amazon river and its tributaries in South America. They are relatively small compared to other dolphins, reaching a length of about eight feet. Amazon river dolphins are gray or pink in color, and have a long beak-like nose. These dolphins hunt in groups and use their sense of hearing and echolocation to find prey. Their diet consists mainly of fish, but they will also eat crabs, turtles, and other small aquatic creatures.<\/p>\n

From what I can tell, Amazon River dolphins are carnivores. I did a quick search and found that they eat fish, crustaceans, and mollusks.<\/p>\n

They also consume other animals such as river turtles, aquatic frogs, and freshwater crabs.<\/p>\n
