After being closed for over a year, the Yellow River Game Ranch is finally set to reopen its doors to the public! Situated in the beautiful Gila National Forest in New Mexico, the ranch offers visitors the chance to get up close and personal with a variety of wildlife, including deer, elk, bison, and even wolves. With over 50 years of experience in wildlife conservation, the ranch is sure to provide an enjoyable and educational experience for all who visit.

The Yellow River Wildlife Sanctuary is set to open Thursday morning under new ownership. Jonathan and Katy Ordway bought the attraction when it was called the Yellow River Game Ranch and have been working to get it up and running again. The petting zoo has been a Lilburn staple for years, and the Ordways are excited to bring it back to the community.
We are still taking reservations to assist in social distancing. Parking is always free. Children 2 and under are free. At this time, walk-ups are welcome.
